I'm back at my scene study class and after just finishing a scene from A Bronx Tale, I got thinking...

In the scene, a mob boss tells a kid he's taken under his wing how to tell if a girl really likes you. First he talks about luvy duvy stuff, you know, money isn't important, do what your heart tells you, etc., but then he says it all comes down to one thing though - the door test. You let the girl into the passenger side of the car, and walk around the car, giving her a chance to reach over and lift up the lock for you. If she doesn't, she's "a selfish broad" and you should dump her. Now of course this doesn't work in today's age of remote locks, but the principal is interesting. What it points out, twisted as the character speaking it is, is very important. The most important quality you should look for in someone is consideration. I think I would agree with that...
