I've kinda been there, done that as far as Van Halen goes, but they're certainly a good group. I was thinking that you liked the more mellow stuff, but please correct me if I'm mistaken.

You are correct that I trend towards mellow (my latest listening is Japanese flute!); I listen to the postings in the "my latest obsession" and I can see folks are finding music with lots of amazing energy --- I'd like to put some of that into my day!
