I'm exhausted and it's one of those days where I regret that I can no longer say no, and this is fun so why should I?
last night went to Asbury Pk. NJ to do sound for a band from DC opening for Le Tigre. I didn't expect to get paid (which goes counter to how I've been livin', cause I gots big bills), but just wanted to do it cause I like MMR and wanted to see Le Tigre for the first time, and in Asbury Park it was a bonus. Such a cool, surreal town.
Anyway, I'm awake on like 4 hours sleep, it's 2:35pm and Trans Am plays a block party baltimore in about 2.5 hours. I can't say no. Why should I?

Someone shit in front of my car last night. That's cool. My neighborhood is rad and definitely my favorite one I've lived in, but Friday and Saturday, it doesn't belong to me -- it's the total "bridge and tunnel" effect. I mean, I respect the scenario, since I lived across the river for years -- DC's the only game in town. But amateur night sucks. People come in and, well, shit where I live. Isn't that cool?
anyway, no real random shit in DC to report aside from that.
Randomness in Asbury Park? Hell yeah. Well, Le Tigre who were awesome. That's random, but easy. We ate at the old-ass HoJo there. Styrofoam cups and plates. totally run-down, but awesome. I really liked it there. Nice place to visit, I suppose. I hear they're gonna fuck that whole boardwalk up and turn it into one giant Crate and Barrel.
