As a person who very much adheres to Science I can say this. I am NOT an atheist nor am I agnostic. I firmly believe in a higher energy and something else that's out there. I do not believe in a traditional heaven nor do I believe in a traditional hell. These concepts are based off of faith and there is no proof of their existence. I do not see a point in just believing in absolution but rather something that evolves. We all evolved from something. That's not to say that people who believe in Evolution believe in Darwinism. Evolution happens, it's reality. Science has proven that things evolve and change. Is it okay to have your beliefs? Of course it is but what's not okay is hurting the world by holding the rest of us back from pushing science forward with said beliefs. Creationists need to understand that the Bible is not a literal book, it is written in parables. It's a guideline to those who choose to have their own personal faiths. Even Jesus said he spoke and wrote in parables, not literal form. The fact is We came from the heavens but not in the way the bible describes it. You, right now, are made up of the very same things that make up the stars in the sky. Consciousness and awareness of being is not just a human trait but a universal trait of all living things. I also believe in ghosts and spiritual essence. I believe in alien life. I believe that I can change my outlook with proof. Humans have the ability to change the world with the power of good intent and we also have the ability to destroy it with ignorant agendas. I say go and educate yourself. The truth is out there. It's not buried under a rock, it's not on television being publicly displayed. It's right in front of your eyes. Open your mind to new things and you will find the truth. We live in an abstract world filled with gray areas. Nothing is black and white when it's distorted. But there is absolute truth that evolves with time. What once was is not anymore, it has changed. The question is do we adapt and change with it or alter it to meet the needs of ourselves and our society and our universe as a whole. Always question, never take things for just what they are. I choose to have faith in myself first. For I have been given the greatest gift of life as we all have. The gift of free will which empowers us all to educate ourselves and each other for a better life and a greater existence.
