I awoke this morning to a House solidly controlled by the Democrats, the first woman speaker of the house in history, and a senate still up in the air. Part of me breathes a sigh of relief. Perhaps all this nonsense is finally coming to an end. But part of me is still skeptical. Were republicans really the problem? Or perhaps, has something bigger than simple party differences been going on all this time?
