I started back at the Encino B&N Monday night. It was very comforting, almost too much so. There have been a few changes in the staff, but by and large I fell right back into the relationships I've had with everyone, and back into all my old work habits, both good and bad. And it's nice that I was able to just slide right back in, but I was a little worried that I would be right back in the same rut I was before. That's something I am desperately trying to avoid.

Then last night during inventory the store manager made me the most interesting offer. He asked me to take over the lead spot of the children's department.

Oh my. This is going to be fun!
