Wow. So this is what being drunk feels like. It's been a while. In truth, I'm not fully drunk. But I'm definitely in that gray stage between buzzed and drunk. Every tenth letter is a typo, and I know I'm going to babble more than I usually do.

All in all, the last few days have been full and long, but good ones. I've got a FAFSA filed, so I'm that much further along in getting back into school. I've gotten more fully in touch with some friends I haven't talked to in a while. And I've gotten more of a handle on things on work. Life seems to be moving again at a pace I enjoy. I'm finding time to enjoy music and film and reading again, and baser pleasures like beer. And I've gotten back in touch with a more spiritual/primal part of myself as well. A place I used to be very comfortable in, but in recent times have ignored in lieu of mundane things.

A friend of mine likes to say there really isn't any poetry in being content, which may be why this post is shorter than some.
