Another week come and gone. I've been out here over five weeks now, and I'm finally feeling settled in. But alas, one thing I've learned in the last few weeks is that I really am a city boy. I'll probably move again in the fall.

The goddess o' my heart and I still aren't seeing each other often, but every moment I've had with her makes me long all the more for the next.

The Sun has finally come out here in North Cali Spring is finally upon us. All the rain here has me worried about global warming, but those fears melt away as I step into Sol's warm embrace. Ah well, if it is to be a water world I guess I'll just grow gills (as long as I don't end up looking like Costner).

The job is shaking out just fine, and I'm really enjoying my new coworkers. Most have a sense of humor that fits so well with my own, and most are shameless flirts like myself as well. It does make the day past faster.

Not much else to say right now. Now that I'm done worrying about lodging and legal tender, I can focus on the things I really care about again. Love, life, and good stories.
