Well, here's my first journal from Vacaville. I don't have my computer up here yet, so these might be few and far between. I'll try to keep everybody posted as often as possible.

I flew up here Sunday afternoon, and was picked up by my futrure housemates in Oakland. Hmmm. Don't ever use that airport if you can help it. To call it outdated is an insult to parachute pants and jellies.

I've been staying on the couch of a mutual friend and her twin twnetysomething daughters. One of the ladies and I are feeling a little bit of a kinship. Maybe something positive will happen there.

I walked into a job at the B&N in Fairfield, and they have a management position open that I may be able to land.

And it's so different up here. To everybody that loves LA and all it represents about SoCal, I say, you can have it. Give me this mellow, relaxed vibe. I don't know if I'll stay here forever (I am a city boy after all), but for now, this is home.
