Last night my best friend Amber called me and told me she was at the hospital in labor. So... Rocks-anne watched Klaudia, she was already asleep so that was easy lol.
It was a long night, she started pushing at 7:00 and was done sometime around 8:00 or so. She did really fucking good... considering how big he is. 10 pounds 5 ounces! She had to push his head AND his shoulders out. Most births you just push the head out and they pull the rest of the baby out afterwards.
It was great to be a part of her delivery, being supportive and helping her and what not. This is one of the biggest days of my life thus far, besides Klaudia's birth... that definately takes the cake.
Whee... so tired... I've only had 3 hours of sleep in the past 36 hours. Wah...
