I am struggling with living in the moment...
struggling with a need to run, fly, jump, transform...but to see what's right in front of you, that's important:
there is a movement in portland, oregon...something brewing...a legendary art scene...I am starting to see this...it was Jeff Hansen's performance last night (aka DJ IZM)...he channeled all his energy into one drum machine and mixed hip hop beats with satirs and a walkie talky that he sang Radiohead samples into....
"I FEEL MY LUCK COULD CHANGE."
It was incredible. And I think me and him shall start leading the scene. I'll be pouring my freakshow energy into music videos only...focusing....
pretty soon, people in Portland will be sitting around a lush bar downtown, and they'll have paid $12 to get in and they'll say....
"Remember when we were all broke making art here....before this town blew up. Those were the days."
