man what a weekend...yeah its tuesday...whatever
so i was on my way to a friends house with a camera, 30 min of tape and a full battery...i was thinking to myself "what can be easy to film right now?" i want to tell a story, what can i do" since there were two of us, i came up with a concept about one man having the power to control anothers enviroment...from that stemmed the idea that an author was writing about a character...but the authors imagination is so lacking that the character actually becomes fed up with it all and mopes....the author feeling bad where this has gone then inserts himself into his story...mingling with the character...then...the fictional character decides to take over the story. it gets real tweaked and shit...im really happy, he had some blank dv tapes so we filmed for three hours
6 hours later we were done editing the 2nd cut...we are deciding to stick with a postal service/death cab music score. what we have so far is awesome. its great to have a day off with no plans and walk away afterward feeling so fulfilled. we have 15 min of great edited footage! one more day of shooting and one more of editing and we will have a good 20 to 25 minute short.....now the music rights...ugh

As a =w= fan, I remember when Cold got booed off the stage. I felt really bad for them.. then I heard their music and was happy that I didn't have to see them later.
