It's so funny, to me, how quickly people lose interest in things. Not that I'm much of an exception to the rule. But then again, maybe I'm just feeling icky depressed from a combination of the weather and my sickiness (which I think is almost over because I actually slept through the night instead of waking up 10million times). It's all rainy and gray here and, while gray is my favorite colour and I normally love rainy days, for some reason it's just getting me down today.

This business with the Todd Goliath stuff pops up everywhere I go and it's really pissing me off. Being that I'm in the process of getting my stuff published and being that I've had people attempt to steal my work and publish it for themselves before, I want to fly into a rage and beat the man senseless (though, as my mom put it, what would that accomplish? well, it'd make me feel better, but other than that). It's wrong on so many levels to steal the way he is.
I know that all art borrows in some sense from someone else. A lot of fantasy borrows ideas on elves and dwarves from Tolkien, but they don't (most of them) completely rip off the plot and the characters themselves. Plenty of artists get ideas from other things they see be it other art, nature, fashion, etc but you aren't supposed to blatantly rip off other artists! HELLO!?! What is wrong with this jerkface? Egads.
You know, even if I wasn't a Lenore fan (and I'm probably a fan of other people he's ripped off, I don't know the complete list of people he's ripped off) I would be angry about this. I hope that karma bites him in the ass sooooooo fucking hard. Of course, he's probably one of those idiotic people who doesn't realize he's done anything wrong (I really don't understand that kind of person) but somehow, someway, I hope he has to live with horrible horrible guilt for the rest of his life. And that's the least of what I hope happens.
