It's been almost 2 weeks since I moved into my new place and I'm finally feeling like I'm on my own. Bills, home items to be purchased, budgeting, all that good stuff.
I feel like I've neglected my goal to meet new people somewhat. I work usually 2-10pm or 3-11pm. I get to see some friends Friday, so I feel good about that.
That human contact, social interaction...so long missed.
Its nice, though, to be on my own and alone some times. It means I can get homework done or just be lazy.
Life is full of strange surprises. Last night, my mind burst with some good lyrics:
"Caught myself thinking of you again, a beautiful explosion in my head. A garden of bad ideas, mistakes, and last regrets."
Need to tinker with it, wrap some wonderful prose around it and package it.
