For some reason they wouldn't use my original design, but this is close enough in the interests of moving the process along. The book takes place in Jim's Third, Fourth and Fifth Chakras -- thus the yellow, green and sky blue. The vertical columns suggest kundalini energy to me. But they also represent the jungle. The white lettering of OTORONGO just seemed obvious to me. No color would look right. Ironically, OTORONGO is the black panther. I wish JimLinsa could have been black, but parts of the background were too dark, and it takes so long to get anything done with iUniverse that working out a solution to that problem just wasn't an option. So I COMPROMISED.
Oh, yes. Lodos. Intended to be enigmatic and not explained by me.
Anyone want to check in with what meaning, if any, you get out of it?
At any rate, I like it a lot. I feel like it's my "brand". Not just for this book, potentially, but for other things.
