what the fuck is going on with this blog entry?

At that point the creek crosses in front of the tee lined with blackberry bushes, and I hit some sort of extreme miss with my driver. The thing went downward from the tee instead of upward and tracked into the blackberry bushes. I don't think it even made the creek.

So I tee up another ball, vaguely aware I need a double bogey here now to have a chance to break 80. Hit it somewhere or other. Take a 3 wood. The creek now goes down the left side of the fairway and then crosses in front of the green. There's a lake on the right. So I busted a tremendous 3-wood all the way down, right to the edge of the creek in front of the green, about 85 yards out.

I'm lying four. Need to put this on the green, two putt for a 7, then par 18 and I shoot 79.

Third try, got it over in nine left of the green. Ten on with the sand wedge. Two puts for a 12.

Bogeyed 18 and shot 85 with a 12 on 17.
