I experienced a miracle playing golf today. Unfortunately it was a bad miracle.

I was five over par in the middle of the fairway on 18 when I hit what I thought was a perfect shot. The only problem was it landed in the middle of the green and bounced out of bounds This is basically impossible. Therefore it must have been a miracle.

However it was a bad miracle, because I had no idea what had happened until I got to the green and started looking for my ball and eventually found it across the street. At which point it was too late to return to the point from which I had hit the shot because the group behind us was already waiting to play their second shots. Obviously I couldn't play it from across the street because it was out of bounds.

So instead of shooting a 77 or a 78 I shot a big fat question mark And I lost a quarter to Ross.

And I still can't figure out wtf happened. (ball lands in middle of green bounces out of bounds . . . ball lands in middle of green . . . bonces out of bounds . . . middle of green . . . out of bounds . . . . mutter mutter mutter . . . . totally impossible . . . mutter mutter mutter . . . .)
