Well guess what I did? I went to meet Liam in Alabama over the weekend. I forgot how good it feels to be completely spontaneous.
He picked me up in Birmingham, and we drove to Florida. We had a really cool time, and it was nice to get away from all this divorce mess and go play in the Gulf. It was georgeous all weekend, till Sunday, and it rained like a cow pissing on a flat rock.
I have some pictures of him flying a helicopter (r-22) out of the Destin Airport, I will post when I get them developed. He hadn't flown in almost a year, and for us aviators, it is like an addiction, so it was cool he got the chance.
Because of a few delays on Sunday, I missed my plane in Birmingham, and ended up finally in Chicago. Well that was a logistical nightmare, but I finally got home about four am this morning. Not that I want to come home, I sure could have stayed a few more days, or the rest of my life.
I hope all are well. I will catch up with all promise
