I know what you mean about being out of touch. I made especially sure, last night, to spend some time with the cat. She hasn't had much play time lately. I snuggled her and ran her ragged with shoelaces, and even gave her some cat grass to nibble on.

Near disaster!! Usually I take the drawings and stick them on my wall so I can "live" with them. Look at at them, stare, whatever. You find LOTS of fuckups 6 or 8 hrs after you stop drawing. or 8 feet away instead of 8 inches. Anyway- last night I did not do that- left the drawing on the board- while I was at work...

I immediately wrote to my tattoo artist, of course, thanking him for doing such an AMAZING job with the portrait (had it come out looking like a stick figure (LOL) or someone totally unrecognizable, I don't think I would have had such luck)). I'm really stoked to see where things go from here! Thanks so much for sharing in the cool news. I feel sort of....I don't know...."teenage" about the whole thing. But I'm gonna ride on this Cloud 9 as long as I can.
