So I had a very interesting weekend- very early Sunday morning I woke up in pool of sweat, clammy skin, shaking- heart pounding- this was not good. spent a good deal of time tossing and turning, hoping it would just go away- and thinking- lots of thinking. At about 6:30 I gave in and called the EMTs. While they where tending to me they kept making remarks "cant belive he's still conscious"- they kept swapping machines and redoing tests- like they couldn't belive the numbers they where seeing.

Finally I was rushed to the ER- all the doctors and nurses did all the wonderful things they do. After things settled down I finally got to talk to one of the doctors- he said"next te you see an EMT- thank him- those guys saved your life today" My blood sugar was so low I SHOULD have bean dead- thankful I wasn't.

So I had a lovely day and half in the hospital, found out I have a leaking heart valve, I need to quite drinking, and I'm on anti depressants again.

At least I'm not dead
