today i had an interesting experience on my way to work. while walking to the lightrail a man came up to me and in broken Enlgish started telling me to buy some clothes at this store down the block. he handed me an unusual little flyer (which was handwritten on a piece of a brown grocery bag) I kept telling him "No Thanks" but he persissted. he continued to follow me for 6 or 7 blocks until I made it t othe light rail. Along the way he started telling me he loved me and started asking me to say a phrase in a language i didn't understand. he didn't follow me on to the lightrail thankfully but before i got on he stopped me and said. "I love you...I love you."
