In 1940 he was one of the 30,000 odd troups that were captured in the Allied Force's retreat at Dunkirk in World War II. After being captured he spent several months in a German prisoner of war camp.

While he was in the camp he received care packages from England that were sent from the Womens Corp....

i had my final inspection today, and they rang this arvo and told me "no problems, your bond should be deposited into your account in the next couple of days"..

umm, work is chaos, but i kind of enjoy it being like that..

well i've been awol the last couple of days due to moving.. oh and to top it off fucking telstra havent put the adsl codes on the phone line at my oldies and i'm without internet..grrrrr...
