howdy all.. hope you're all doing well.. i'm feeling pretty rundown and tired.. had too many late nights of late..
friday night went and saw The Explosion, The Disables and Capt'n My Capt'n at The Cambridge.. was a pretty good show.. i really liked The Disables, sound a lot like Rancid, The Transplants, Operation Ivy (did you get the joke there).. i took my camera and managed to get a few good shots despite the fact that the lighting was shit house..
saturday was spent rushing around doing house stuff, finished moving the last of the stuff out of storage, went and bought a bbq and outdoor setting and decided to throw a last minute bbq.. a few non-porno friends made it around to christen the new 'Q'..
sunday the folks came around for brunch and to check out the new digs.. the 'Q' got another work out cooking up bacon & eggs, had the espresso pumping out nice coffee too.. then after lunch traceelement and i did some run around shopping.. bought some more shit for the house, a bin, a dunny brush, light globes, food, really cool salt & pepper shakers, and other assorted random crap.. the to complete the long late weekend a friend from sydney, who was really depressed and i didnt think it was a good idea for her to be alone, came over.. we sat talking into the wee hours about how evil men are, and that we will be the downfall of society, etc. she left at about 9am this morning after coffee and more chatting.. call me councellor matt..
semi busy week ahead, central coast tomorrow, canberra and canberra hookup on wednesday, wollongong on thursday, pick my mate livingdeadkirst up on Thursday arvo from sydney, work in the office on friday.. then i have 9 days off.. FUCKYEH.. cant wait..
