Big Day Out was a yawn-fest for me, really long beer lines and a pretty bland band lineup made for a fairly quiet day.. Out of what I saw / heard Muse were good, Tool were alright except for Maynard being a twat and hiding at the back of the stage in complete darkness, My Chemical Romance are not a festival band and they should not play in daylight..

Not sure if I'm shooting any local bands this week, going to have to look at the gig guide and see what's on. There's a few good bands touring through soon so there should be some more photopasses coming, fingers crossed..

I used to be into bands and shit when I was younger, played in rock\metal bands through school. Now its more dance, but still get back into it. Though Ive never seen a dance act live or dj that has topped last nights performance.
Mate used to work at a club that shit down at new years, but its been gutted and gonna continue to run for a bit so will check that tomorrow night, and some other friends are playing not far from there so will go see them :S
