Having a difficult week keeping my drive and motivation at work. I'm tired of spending each day working on the same crap; maps and boring branded animations. It's almost torture when I begin to think about what I'm doing and most likely what im going to do for the next week/month/year... So sick of it. My hat is off to those who have been around for 5-8 years, I can barely keep interest after 3. Especially now that we govern as many stations as we have an entire staff.

I know they "may" be giving me a new shift, but the more I think about the job and the hassle I take in regularly over dumb shit, the more I ponder if it's worth sticking around. There is no chance of being promoted when they keep hiring 21 year olds as senior staff... Sometimes believe that I'm just not cut out for this anymore, just don't have any motivation for this line of work.

Anyway... Just tired of it all. Been debating on selling the house and moving, most likely back up North to NJ, or Los Angeles. I have connections there, just not sure if I'm willing to take a risk... Especially when I am still owned by student loans.

Been keeping up with my workout routine, and drum practice afterwards. Been getting a crap ton of energy from it, feels so damned good to play this way again. Just need to keep it up, the muscle memory is coming back, just need a lot of conditioning. The mind is making the commands that the body just can't seem to place, but I'm noticing that the more I play and practice the more I'm connecting to my old techniques. Just need to find some motivated musicians to jam with.... And either an acoustic kit or an amp for my electronic kit.
