Well, I forgot to update here... Horror Scape is done and uploaded on Newgrounds. HORROR SCAPE: Chapter 1.
It's been uploaded a month ago, and its doing ok. Beginning to believe that NewGrounds should no longer be the goto site for me, especially when I barely got any views.
Anyway... I have been getting emails from Chinese games sites, who seem to want the ad license for my game. So we have been negotiating for the past month over this, and I will be receiving ad share revenue for the license. Thats good, because I want to see some type of income if someone is gonna be making money on my game. Normally I would not care, but I put a lot of work into Horror Scape, and I need money as well....
Once I finish the translation of Horror Scape in Chinese, I will begin workin on my next project. I will finally get into finishing Xenopod... Finally. And it will be using the animation style I have been experimenting with for the past 3 weeks. Here is a pic of Marty with the animation style. It uses plenty of shape tweens and layer masks. I think it had roughly 32 layers, but I'm not using the raw art, I'm converting it ll into .png art sprites.
Here is a small set of his animation from Vector Animation. I am cutting 2 frames between each, so it is actually much more smooth then this.
