It looks like I will be starting doing concert photography once again! After moving from Knoxville and leaving my position as senior staff photographer for The International which was a major tour venue in the area. I had figured it was just a 4 year span of fun and a million shows covered and time to move on to different projects.
A few months ago I was approached to be a love show reviewer and concert photographer for 100% Rock Magazine. I accepted but hadn't had any success getting credentials approved. I guess because my taste in music is so random it was hard to get pass from the p.r. departments for a magazine that typically covers Top Chart Radio Rock acts.
Well today I finally got approved to shoot my first show for them. Credentials are approved for one of my favorite musicians! Nivek OhGr of Skinny Puppy. Time to dust off the concert shooting brain and prep up for OhGr tomorrow night!
