October has only had 1 week down so far and I've already had 3 publications for the month plus 3 more by the end of the month. Being a photographer for 16 almost 17 years professionally I'm not too worried or excited about when things drop like a magazine feature too often. Especially at this point in the game. I used to get excited about it for sure. But then again that was during my Combat Photographer years.
But this month. This month was something pretty unique. My surrealist macabre work was featured in a massive Haute Couture Journal , Kultur Magazine featured my work for a second time, and I officially got my first publication/magazine cover through Sarta Magazine. That one was the one that got me super giddy.
As I said. I normally don't brag too much or toot my own horn on these things at this point. But this year has been a pretty good year so far for publications and my model work. I shoot so much and edit so much I don't have time to do anything outside of shooting and editing. Last movie I watched in the theater was Deadpool. It's kind of sad and hilarious at the same time. But seeing 20 publications plus several sg sets coming up all dropping over the course of this year is definitely helping my brain in letting me know that my hard work and severe dedication is starting to go somewhere in the direction that I absolutely want it to.
