Lately I've been disheartened by the choices close friends have made.

I like to believe that the people I associate with are a higher calibur of human being.

I've been shown thats not always the case.. and to each their own, I'm not here to judge. I just have pretty high standards when it comes to friendships and it seems I either let the bar...

I'm sure by now everyone on earth has heard of the "Double Rainbow" guy.

This is officially the best remix they've done yet.

on another note, I need a new job. I'm working my ass off for next to nothing. I would like an office job, it would make me happy. So, you know, cross your fingers or whatever.

Just send the good vibes.

This is a cut'n'paste of my post in the North Carolina group, but not all of my friends are from NC and some of them live close enough to possibly benefit from the "regional" rewards, but whether you are 100 miles away or 1000 miles away, it's still an amazing idea:

I count Aaron Wood as one of my very good friends and one of...

My last blog was a bummer. SO lets focus on something happy.

Like, I had the day off and was able to run a bunch of errands and its hot as hell outside.

But a week or so ago I found a barely used window a/c unit on craigslist for $50 and its doing an admirable job of keeping the humidity out of the house,...

Days off are fun smile - You guys working Saturday Afternoon?
ikcsmiley:
I'll be at the ABC on Cox ave - the game will be ending just before 4:30 (soccer has no timeouts or TV breaks, so you can set your watch to it) unless there is overtime - if you can bust out early, go for it. The game on Wednesday was the single best bar sports event I've ever attended in my life - that place went insane on Donovan's goal at the 91st minute smile

I'll make no arguement against the fact that I can sometimes let my emotions overwhelm me. It doesn't happen often. I grew up watching old cowboy TV shows where Clint Eastwood and John Wayne wouldn't let things bother them.. they bottled things up and brought them out in a fury when the situation called for superhuman levels of speed, strength and ferocity.

I touched on...

I live in a town which is unprepared for everything. Heat brings a/c units on which shuts down the power grid, cold brings snow and ice which they can do nothing about. Water mains break. Everyone here has the cognitive power of a 10 year old.

There are, of course, wonderful exceptions to this rule. I call these people friends and they are a bastion...
