Lately I've been disheartened by the choices close friends have made.

I like to believe that the people I associate with are a higher calibur of human being.

I've been shown thats not always the case.. and to each their own, I'm not here to judge. I just have pretty high standards when it comes to friendships and it seems I either let the bar dip or I have to raise it higher in order to avoid dramagnets and potential train wrecks.

But, I guess life is all about misplaced faiths. Which, incidentally, would make an amazing band name.

I guess I just miss what I used to have back home in detroit.
