My last blog was a bummer. SO lets focus on something happy.
Like, I had the day off and was able to run a bunch of errands and its hot as hell outside.
But a week or so ago I found a barely used window a/c unit on craigslist for $50 and its doing an admirable job of keeping the humidity out of the house, and keeping it about 10 degrees cooler in here. Granted, thats not a ton of cooling when you figure that its 91 degrees right now.. but shit.. 81 is a lot better than 90.
I'm trying to eat more. In the last month I've been lucky to have more than 1 meal a day and I've been gettin sick because of it. Also, it didnt really help me lose weight. Which is *not* why I was doing it.. we're just broke and busy. But I remember when being poor meant being skinny.. wish it was still that easy.
So I'm feelin a little better, accomplished some stuff today, and am relaxing in (relatively) cool temps.

I'll be at the ABC on Cox ave - the game will be ending just before 4:30 (soccer has no timeouts or TV breaks, so you can set your watch to it) unless there is overtime - if you can bust out early, go for it. The game on Wednesday was the single best bar sports event I've ever attended in my life - that place went insane on Donovan's goal at the 91st minute
