Man, the stress is almost over.
Technically, its mostly over already. Almost everything is in place to get the hell out of here.
I finished the last thing I had to do to finalize my bankruptcy last Saturday. It was a debt education class and we had to watch and take notes on some movie made in the 80's. It was hysterical and sad at the same time. I fully expected someone I owed money to to show up and try and throw a wrench in my bankruptcy hearing, but thankfully she did not and everything there went smoothly.
I went to my last probation appointment yesterday. I fully expected my PO to question that I completed 132 hours of community service in a month but she just smiled and congratulated me on paying all my dues and completing all my hours. Luckily for me I found a guy who was willing to sign off on my hours ahead of actually completing them. I'd done 54 hours for him but needed him to sign off on 92. He did, so I'm going to have to make sure I do some excellent work for this guy. He has me making flyers and stuff in photoshop for him at the moment.
The truck is reserved for the move. I pick it up next wednesday. The most stressful thing I have to do now is pack it and drive. I need to find a nice route with not too many elevated points, because I'm towing my other car. AAND, I'll have Dryad in the truck with me along with our dog and our cat, so that should make for an interesting drive, no doubt!
But in 9 days, I'll be a North Carolinan.
