Thanks for trying to help me yesterday. I've tried everything that everyone has suggested and nothing has worked.

I also screwed up my laptop itself as well. It fell on the floor and now the latch is messed up and it won't go into standby mode when I close it - I have to manually put it on standby.

Sigh...methinks it's time for a new computer. New computer = $$$$$$ = frown
