You know, every so often i'll see the cover of a magazine like Spin or Circus or some OTHER shitty music publication, and there will be a band on the cover like Massive attack or radiohead, and a big quote saying something like "We had to kill rock n roll to change the world" or some bullshit along those lines. Call your music what you want kids, alternative, punk-pop, whatever, it's FUCKING ROCK N ROLL! pretentious cocksuckers. like you ever COULD kill something that is so broad it contains the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, the Velvet Underground, AND Bob Dylan? good luck with THAT myth, friend. Rock n Roll, to me, is any music that is rebellious, no matter what the sound....Johnny Cash was Rock. Elvis was Rock and then he became Pop. Lou Reed is DEFINITELY Rock. YOU are Rock you blue veined dicks.
