The Sontaran Experiment complete with South African accented colonists, a robot that looks like a refugee from a powdered mashed potato advert and the incomparable Tom Baker, who manages to turn every line he's given into gold. Magnificent stuff! 😊

Powering on with this. The first season ends on the kind of cliffhanger that, if I was having to wait a full year for its resolution, would leave me screaming with frustration. One of my Christmas purchases. I'm about half way through and, really, this is very very good. It's meticulously plotted and, although its large cast of characters means it sometimes feels like it's moving quite slowly, it's a very absorbing story.
