It’s been a little while since I’ve done one of these and I thought I should rectify that parlous situation with a rundown of SGs and Hopefuls that have caught my eye over the last couple of months. I’ll tackle the hopefuls first. And, my, there have been some simply astounding sets lately!
First up is @stellarmorta who has not one or two but three sets currently in MR and all of them are excellent. If I had to plump for a favourite, it would be the first one, Demon Mother (shot by @vaxis), which is a glorious evocation of the kind of gothic nightmare that I wish I had regularly instead of the one with the spikes, the manacles and the never-ending rows of pointed teeth. Stellarmorta is a vision of dark, voluptuous sensuality and displays the kind of grace, power and sheer hunger you would expect from a bona fide queen of the damned. The creativity on display here is fantastic and the graveyard photography - a distinctly chilly-looking, autumnal graveyard, too – is stunning. A fantastic set!
And so is Splish Splash Evil Bath (also shot by @vaxis) which is a bath set (duh!) and features Stellarmorta swiftly divesting herself of her rather fetching black lace outfit before getting into a bath from which she stares moodily into the camera, defying you to break her gaze and divert your attention downwards a few inches. And it’s a close call, because, as well as being astonishingly beautiful and possessing one of the most hypnotically gorgeous pairs of peepers I’ve ever seen, she is also gloriously, magnificently curvy. Another fantastic set which it would be simply criminal (and possibly bad for your immortal soul) to ignore!

Shot by @caustix, Neighbour features the incredibly attractive @miss_samantha_mathias. It’s a straightforward living room set, but the photography and Samantha’s quite simply stunning beauty elevate it into something stylish, graceful and powerfully erotic. And speaking of ‘elevation’, some of the more effective shots are taken from the landing that overlooks Samantha’s naked form as she stretches out on the sofa. The suggestion of a voyeuristic viewpoint is subtle but unmistakable. It’s also very sexy – as, to be fair, are the shots where, confident in her sensuality, Samantha looks straight at the camera. It’s a very polished, very special set.

So, I love @redkaya and I know I’m not alone. I blogged enthusiastically about the set she released just before Christmas and now I’m blogging about her latest one, Biking, shot by @ivylina. There’s something simply wonderful about this set. The open-air, park setting; the beautiful sunshine; the (initially) modest summer dress; the old-style ladies’ bike; Redkaya’s supremely pretty smile which somehow manages to convey a sense of clean innocence and a hint of playful naughtiness at the same time: all of these elements combine to cast a heady, enchanting spell, that is simply irresistible. Put simply, this set makes you feel good. It’s Redkaya’s friendliness – her open smile, her twinkling eyes, the inviting red of her lips – that draws you in and holds you. This is such a fresh and welcoming set. I’ll probably never meet her, but the sense of Redkaya’s warmth and openness is so vital here that it makes this set truly special. I love it. And, really, so should you. 😊

If you want sheer glamour perfection, you couldn’t really do better than This Part Of Me featuring @darcydiamond90. This is a gloriously sexy set shot in subtly moody lighting by @laurentphotog and showcasing Darcydiamond90’s heavily-inked body perfectly. The lingerie is stylish; the posing is confident and effortlessly sensual; the ink is intricate and beautiful. Darcy is stunning, curvy and possesses a smouldering gaze that is guaranteed to send tingles down the spine. This is a simply majestic set and is well worth checking out.

For a tantalising set of old school glamour and glorious curves, may I humbly recommend I’m Here Waiting featuring @moonchiild? Shot by @mdt, this is a lingerie set which, in its first half, contrasts Moonchiild’s voluptuous body with a vivid blue slip perfectly, before dispensing with the clothing entirely and displaying her beauty with both clarity and a fair amount of creativity. And Moonchiild is gorgeous. Her red hair is vibrant, her eyes sparkle with a knowing playfulness, and her body is adorned with some simply beautiful art. I’m not sure why anyone would keep this girl waiting, but if you’ve not had a proper look at it by now, well, you know what to do…

There’s a lovely relaxed feel to Gabrielle, the new set from @diamondmachine and featuring @mexeime. For all that I love glamour sets, sometimes a change of pace is just what’s needed and this set sees Mexeime in loose top, socks and panties, hair up and in beautifully reflective mood. By the time the top comes off, we’ve been able to appreciate her beauty in a series of leisurely shots that show her in a range of poses. And Mexeime is very beautiful indeed. As the later shots show, she is curvy, elegant and possessed of a powerful sense of the erotic. Seeing her luxuriate in the sunlight streaming in through the windows is an almost sacred experience. This is an unusually powerful (and powerfully unusual, for that matter) set and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
And that’s it for me. For now. I’m kind of on a bit of a mission at the moment to try and catch up. There are some excellent SG sets in MR right now that I’m itching to write about!
