The new school year beckons, which means, among other things, I probably won't be quite as active on the site as I have been over the summer. So, I thought I'd put together a post of some of my favourite hopeful images of the last few weeks. The common thread that ties these disparate pics together? The gaze at the camera and the subsequent catch in my throat and skip of my heart and quickening of my pulse. Enjoy!

@myzaree is a very pretty lady, but I honestly don't think I've seen her look quite as good as in her latest set Easy Rider, shot by @sawa. This is an incredible image, really. Achingly beautiful, Myzaree's face, framed by her vibrant green hair, is utterly captivating. And those eyes...
I must confess that I had not encountered @chibbi before, an oversight for which I hope she'll forgive me. By way of recompense, allow me to present an image from her latest set At Grandma's House that grabbed me and refused to let me go. So very beautiful...
Sweet, dark-haired and very pretty, @sofiowka possesses a gaze as alluring as it is beautiful. Her set Daydream Bay is fantastic, but this image made me stop and stare for a good long while. Powerful and arresting beauty.
Some looks are enigmatic, difficult to interpret; others are less so. @lornasharpofficial's set Blooming In Denim contains many wonders, but this shot took my breath away. The sense of invitation is powerful; the beauty undeniable.
