I'll be going on holiday shortly, so won't have much opportunity to update (there might be one more post after this - we'll have to see). There are a few recent (and not so recent) Hopeful sets that are worthy of comment, though. Here we go...
@slava is simply magnificent. Her latest set to hit MR is Nirvana and seeing these pictures is, indeed, some sort of religious experience. Slava is astonishingly beautiful and her body, decorated with gorgeous tattoos (left arm and right thigh are my favourites, but really they're all very striking), is sublime. Her rich, dark eyes won me over right from the start and her whole look is elegantly sensuous. The photography is great, too - the moments when the sunlight hits her skin are breathtaking. A wonderful set!
The title of @tattumom's set Nude In Nature may be a tad prosaic, but both the nude and the nature in question are breathtaking. Tattumom is a goddess of dramatic proportions, her hair beautifully-styled and her body sexy enough to prompt all sorts of sensual imaginings in my admittedly unreconstructed brain. To see her in such a striking landscape is a real treat. And she really does belong there, queen of all she surveys. A simply magnificent set!
I blogged about @brunhild's latest set a few days ago, but it's worth pointing out that her first set Modern Valkyrie is still in MR and it is very much worth your time. Brunhild is a beautiful, curvy goddess and this outdoor set sees her showing off her archery skills before undressing by a forest stream. Brunhild seems perfectly at home in this setting and her natural beauty is all of a piece with the beauty of the woodland. If you were to imagine your perfect spirit of nature, you couldn't go wrong with Brunhild.
@midnightsun has been posting some great pics of herself on her blog. Her latest set Think Pink is simply glorious. Midnightsun is sporting some astonishingly beautiful pink dreads and she uses them to very creative and eye-catching effect. Her posing is similarly creative and hypnotically sensual; her beauty is undeniable. It's a great set with some fantastic photography from @sunshine. A colourful, thoroughly absorbing and very sexy set!
@libris' set, His Girl Friday, dropped today. I urge you to stop what you're doing and go and have a look at it. Now. I'll wait...
What you have just seen/examined/scrutinised is one of the best sets of the last few months. Anyone who's been following Libris for any length of time will know what a uniquely articulate, intelligent and entertaining member of this site Libris is. In this sense, photographer @gemmaedwardsuk has done the best thing possible - she has captured in this set the 'essential' Libris. There is so much class here, so much style. As I mentioned in the comments on the set, everything works - the dress, the glasses, the furniture. There is a very creative sense of theme here that lasts throughout the set, a conscious nod to pin-up sensibilities with beautiful lingerie and stockings and sheer, unadulterated pin-up glamour.
Libris pulls it off superbly - the flirtatiousness, the simmering sensuality, the sheer glorious elegance. Libris is a tall, slender woman whose intelligence and grace shine through in every picture. Of all the Hopeful sets of the last few weeks, this one is an achievement. With an eye for detail and some wonderful posing, this is a work of erotic art that will live long in this reader's memory. A simply brilliant set.
