Powering on with this. The first season ends on the kind of cliffhanger that, if I was having to wait a full year for its resolution, would leave me screaming with frustration. The first two episodes of season two, though, are, if anything, better. The character interaction between the two brothers remains the key focus, but there's more at stake and, with the [BIG SPOILER] of the first episode, the emotions are bubbling up to the surface. All good.
As for the threats in each episode, they're as creepy as ever. I'm not a huge fan of clowns so the second episode creeped me out most satisfactorily. The girl who plays the reaper in the first episode, though, was absolutely brilliant. A beautifully understated performance which was, in its own way, just as terrifying as all the more conventional monsters encountered in previous episodes. All in all, a very enjoyable series. 😊
