I did the paperwork, I submitted my identification, and tomorrow I shoot my debut set.
I worked very hard to get to this point: being comfortable in my own skin, admiring beautiful models and successful sets, investing in camera equipment and studying posing. I spent a lot of time building this persona only to realize that Jezlynn has always been me - who I am and what I want in life.
The goal for any hopeful is to turn pink, but for me, my personal victory is just showing up to my shoot tomorrow. My celebration is just to have my name be lavender and relish in the fact that I am bold enough to pursue whatever I choose.
I have plenty to still learn: managing social media plugs, selling services in a saturated market, how to photograph women because boudoir is the business I strive towards. How to take a crisp ass instagram photo? Thats a science in itself because mine never look as sharp haha. (And hiding my selfie pen oops)
I'm terribly nervous but delighted by these next steps. I may not be running towards my goals, but I'm certainly no longer crawling.
