There is definately a shell around every single one of us. That shell can act like a lense, or maybe it just has an image that's displayed on the inside surface kind of like that planet jackers episode of invader zim.
The things that we all take for granted are never correct. I'm sure of this because they are things that we never question, maybe because we lack experience of anything other than what we assume. I've been walking around school alot lately and I can't help but hearing what people talk about. It's really surprising what people assume to be true. I should start catalouging all of my assumptions.
Assumption 1: The standard of living in this country must decline. I'm listening to a group of CS students talking about the export of jobs to India. There is annoyance in their voices. They're not blaming anyone, but they all agree that one cannot live off of anything less than 15 dollars an hour. I wonder if they know how many families in this country make less than 15,000 a year, which works out to be $7.21 if you're working full time and 15 bucks an hour if you're working twenty hours a week.
