I'm thinking I just may pull off the impossible here and post TWO blogs in the same 30 day period of time...HOLY HELL! It'll be a miracle for me

So I don't know about ya'll but I'm up to my buttkas in Christmas still...even after I SWORE to myself that I'd have all of my collective ducks in a row before the 15th this year. As a matter of fact, I'm writing this right now instead of being downstairs where I should be finishing up my handmade Christmas cards I just had to take a few "me" minutes before diving back into the Santa's workshop from hell that is my basement right now

And just a quick disclaimer to everyone who's on my Christmas card list....uh...there gonna be late...again. (yeah, I know you guys are completely taken aback by that statement ) I just finally got the last of my addresses yesterday after losing the big ole' list of addresses for SG folks that I so painstakingly accumulated last year. I was oh so careful with it for months and months while I waiting for the spare time to enter everyone into my Blackberry contacts list (spare time? we don't need no stinking spare time!) and ended up misplacing it during my rush to vacate my craft room in May so that my boomerang kid had somewhere to live when he moved back in. I shoulda just moved his ass into the basement and kept my craft room dammit! Anyhow...I THINK I got addresses again from everyone for cards but if you got a Christmas card from me last year and I haven't asked you to send me your address again, would you pleeeeeez pleeeeeeez pleeeeeeez PM it to me today?

But I digress~

In addition to finishing up my what will now be "Happy New Year's!" cards, I just have to finish wrapping some stuff for Flashmo and my kidlets and pick up a few last minute baking ingredients (Bacardi
Razz is a baking ingredient, isn't it?) and then I should be set for Christmas! *whew!* How about you?

Let's see....other than the usual Christmas pandemonium, life is really starting to settle in nicely here. If you didn't read my jinormous where the hell I've been the entire last year blog, you should pack a lunch and grab a beer...then click that link so that you can see where the hell I've been for the entire last year To say that things have been a little complicated for Flashmo and I during the course of 2010 would be a HUGE understatement!

But the good news is that things seem to be settling down nicely....finally! Ryan's still living with us(was going to move in for a month or two back in May) and that's been getting a little easier after having six months of practice time living together again. We've made a bunch of progress getting him back on his feet over the last couple of months and are hopeful that he may actually be ready to move on with his life soon. We're waiting to hear back on a social security disability determination for him though...I'm hopeful that it will be approved but bracing myself for a denial just in case. We've also been working really hard at getting him set up on a gob of patient assistance programs for his medications recently and have had some success with them Once he gets a social security disability determination, we can get him back on Medicaid...thank goodness!! The kid really,really needs medical insurance with all of his medical and mental health disorders.

Flashmo's fly rod business is really picking up and we're looking forward to being in a mitt-ful of upcoming flyfishing expo's and outdoor sportsman's shows over the course of the next few months. The Boise Christmas show went really well...which is great, except for the fact that now he's UBER busy trying to get his display rods inventory back-up for the shows in January, February and March. We'll be in the following places if ya'll just happen to be in the neighborhood

Boise, Idaho- January 14th and 15th for the Western Idaho Flyfishing Expo at Expo Idaho
Pasco, Washington- January 21-23rd for the Tri-Cities Outdoor Sportsmans show at TRAC
Yakima, Washington-February 18-20th for Central Washington Sportsmans show at the Sundome
Boise, Idaho- March 3-6th for Idaho Sportman's show at Expo Idaho
Spokane, Washington March 17th-20th for Big Horn Show at Spokane Fairgrounds

All of his already built inventory is always posted on the site...or he's always happy to put together a quote on a custom rod for anyone who's already got an idea of what they'd like in the way of weight, action, blank, etc.

So I got my Christmas present early yesterday from my honey and I just wanted to end this by saying....WOOOOO-FREAKIN'-WHOOOOOOO!! Now I just might be able to shoot a new set soon Flashmo got me a Nikkon Coolpix for Christmas and it's SO much nicer than the camera I used for the majority of my self-shot sets. My 47th birthday is in two weeks from today and I'm thinking that I might just need to shoot something to celebrate the occasion~
