I had kind of a rough day today... I cried alot, and I laughed alot, all in rememberance of somebody that I loved very much. It was her birthday today...and I felt bad because I didn't remember right away that today was her day. She was a dear friend, one who I could count on always, and her name was Elizabeth.
This blog is dedicated to anybody who has owned and loved an animal the way that I loved my Elizabeth. She was my first dog ever, and she was smart, and funny, and tenacious, and loving, and she was a gentle, sweet soul that mothered all of our boxers to follow:

My Tessie is my first doggy and I really worry about, what with her age and diabetes; I absolutely dread the day when I have to have her put to sleep. It makes me shudder just thinking about it
We have to be grateful that we've had these babies in our life and the joy they've brought us; we're extremely lucky.
