I'm sitting here today on a snowy Idaho Sunday afternoon....and daydreamin' about putting in my first flowers in around my new home this spring! Go figure. 
It's actually a beautiful, serene day...the snow coming down on and off in little waves, and it's almost spooky quiet! Sunday's in general are kind of like that in my neighborhood, let alone of snowy Sundays! So, first thing this morning when I woke up it seemed like the whole world outside was enveloped in a blanket of crystal, frost and snow. It was actually quite amazing....and the flakes that were coming down were big and beautiful and my only complaint was that I couldn't see any of the mountains that surround our the little corner of the world that flashmo and I live in. You see, normally the majesty of the mountains is almost all you can see, as we are nestled down in the valley between them, but not today. I have fallen head over heels in love with them, so I will be glad when the Mountains begin to show themselves again.
Anyway....back to growin' things!
Flashmo and I moved this last summer from Spokane to Pocatello, and I just didn't get to plant as much as I'd have liked to. I suppose that is mostly because I knew we were going to sell the house, and I just couldn't get as excited about putting in veggies and flowers everywhere when someone else would be the one to enjoy the "fruits of my labors", so to speak! I did put some flowers in around the front of the house, as I knew that having some would help the "curb appeal" of the house, but that's all the planting I did.
I love most all flowers, but I'm especially fond of Fuschias, Dahlias, Mumms, and of course....Lillies!! Anyone who's seen my tattoos should be able to tell which is my all-time favorite, I'm thinking

Alright....enuff daydreamin' for me for now!! Looks like we've got a bunch of winter left to go around here, so it's back to surfin' boobies for me
