Well, I normally am in bed by about now on a work night...but I decided it was time for another drink and to take a minute to thank all of you that were sweet enough to stop by and wish me birthday loves this last week, especially yesterday! 
I was so blown away when I logged in yesterday afternoon....this was, of course after recupperating from my birthday hangover 
Anyway, I just wanted you all to know how much it meant to me, I won't soon forget your kindness 
It's been a pretty weird week, no matter how you look at it. Such is the rollercoaster that we call life, I guess. I'm still a little sad about sending my daughter back off to school again on Saturday, that was incredibly difficult for me to do a second time. The good news for me is that this time she didn't look quite as little and helpless as she did the first time I put her on her plane to college back in August. If you read any of my blogs these last three weeks, you've seen what a great partner in crime she made for me while my honey was on the road...and we had an amazing time getting to know each other more as just human beings instead of as a parent and child, and the last three weeks with her held moments that I will forever treasure.
My honey flashmo is right, I guess I was a little bummed at the outcome of my entry into the art show. I guess if you are going to have pictures returned to be cropped for any reason, having someone ask you to do it because your hot pics and panties are distracting the judges couldn't be a better reason, but it did make me a little disappointed nonetheless. I believe we're going to be able to reach a compromise with the uptight judges, and that works for me because I really, really want to have my ink in the show. If you haven't seen the thread on this in Geezers, the Art show is for a women's tattoo "celebration" and display. I love my ink, and couldn't be prouder of it! I've not publically thanked my artist yet...so now seems like the appropriate time to say that my chest piece and my back piece were both done by Chris Spriggs at Tiger North Tattoo in Spokane, WA. Chris fuckin' rocks, and I miss him SO much! We've searched high and low for a new tattoo artist in our new home, and haven't had the best of luck yet. The guy that did Flashmo's girlfriend on his arm is out of a town about three hours away, so I guess he's always an option for our next work but it blows not being able to call my buddy Chris and ask him to squeeze me in for an appointment! Anyway, forget where I was heading with this....must be my Geezerness showing through

Speaking of my honey....if you all haven't noticed yet, Flashmo has started to post on the site and has put together a profile. Stop by and meet him, he's an awesome guy!! Of course, I'm kind of biased, but for rls....stop by and say "hey" to Flashmo and make him feel welcome here on SG, K?
