I was planning to keep the same blog for the remainder of the week with my birthday coming up....just one of those things that seems like the thing to do at the time. Anyway, I just found out about my good friend SocietysPliers and suddenly the idea of my birthday countdown just didn't seem very important to me anymore.
I don't really have any profound things to say on the topic, other than I think that SocietysPliers is an incredible man, and he's been a great friend to me, here on SG. You just gotta love a guy who plays his guitar nekkid and loves AFI as much as I do
SP stood by me last weekend when many were unhappy with the threads that I started, and was sweet enough to dedicate a song to me at the show they played over last weekend....I'm not normally a huge Rolling Stones fan, but I can honestly say that I'd love to see SP sing me "hey you, get off of my Cloud".
A note to SP from me:
I wanted to post some AFI in your honor....I know you are a big fan of "December Underground", and you may just be the only other person I've talked to about the CD that is as passionate about it as I am. I know you guys played "Miss Murder" at your show, so it only seemed right to post the director's cut of that one.

Thanks to all who reminded me that SocietysPliers would be the first to tell me that my birthday was important to him
Pandara, my favorite birthday cake would be Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese frosting, so if you happen to have an extra one of those....I'd be happy to take it off your hands this Sunday!
A couple of other important things going on in my life right now....
My honey Flashmo comes home TOMORROW!!!!! YIPPEE FREAKIN' SKIPPEE!!! I'm getting some....I'm getting some....finally! I'm also gonna be getting some dirty dancing for my birthday when we go to the Club this weekend and I get the "birthday dance" from the girls at the Titty bar! I'll definately have to post a new blog after this weekend's adventures
On a sad note, my daughter leaves on Saturday...she's heading back to school. For those who've noticed that I've not been as active on the site these last couple of weeks, it's just been because I've been hanging out with "my girl". She's a good friend as well as a great daughter, and I'm going to miss her fiercely when she leaves again. Someone recently asked me what she would think about my whole quest to become PINK....or if she'd ever want to join the site herself....and although this topic is one that I intend to flesh out a little more another day, I do finally have an answer to all of those questions. She thinks it's pretty fuckin' cool!
