also, Sabine got me a record player. it's portable, and works!
i picked up ok computer (in very elaborate packaging... $26, though. gr), cursive's ugly organ ($10) and elliott smith's self-titled ($10).
elliott smith sounds very much at home on vinyl. at least that album.
plus i have a plethora of great classic rock albums that i raided after my dad died.
plus, i splurged on a new cd burner. and the new interpol (again. it was stolen) and old shins, and i finally found 'me talk pretty one day'... at best buy? weird.
i'm putting myself on a spending freeze now. cept maybe from getting kid a and amnesiac on vinyl. *drools*
