So I've decided to quit smoking...cold turkey baby...
Yesturday I took the city bus (which is always an adventure) to the hospital to make sure that I don't have a bronchial infection...they ran a new test on me that I have never done before...come to find out, my lungs are 77 years old! haha
Today is the first day in 2 years that I haven't had a cigarette. I've been put on three types of medication for asthma...my plan is to go to the gym and strengthen my lungs because I believe the human body is capable of healing itself if you stimulate the right vessels...
The best thing to do is to keep optimistic, I know I will live a long time and not have to carry an oxygen tank around by the time my 40th birthday roles around. I'm too stuborn of a bitch to let anyone else tell me how long I will live, there's way too many places I'm going to go, people to meet, and many many more luxurious indulgences! Wish me Luck!
