Ahh,,,December 2nd, just as good a day to kick back and relax as any....
Well I put up the old Christmas Tree last night...If you haven't done it listening to "Reign in Blood" by Slayer from start to finish, you should try it, it's fun!!! A Slayer Christmas album, (that's a thought) that would be fun!!!! lol
Right now just kicking back chillin to Opeth and drinking a bit of Merlot...
Wanted to post a couple of pictures that I have taken in the last week or so, still trying to get a grip on the digital thing, and the post pic edit thing, I miss the darkroom!!! ......well scratch that....I have to figure out how to get them down to size....Oh well, I ll figure it out....
Moving on... so I have been reading this book called "1776" by David McCullough. Well the title kind of gives it away but the interesting thing is that George Washington wasn't as great a decision maker as I had once thought it turns out, he really relied on those below him, and when he did make a decision it was a shitty one and he had a really hard time with commanding the Rebel Army as it was. I have always liked history, never really read much on the Revolution until now, but it has been a great book. It chronicles the great stand off in Boston, the, for lack of a better word slaughter at Ft. Washington (New York) and the battles of Trenton. I have about 35 pages left...I think after this I am going to read "His Excellancy" a bio of sorts on Washington. Just kind of interesting to actually have some insight on the guy that adorns all of those one dollar bills that I stuff in vending machines, and strippers G strings.... If you are into history, this is a great read by a pulitzer prize winning author....good stuff!!!
Alright enough babble for one day....time to go try and figure out this picture shit....
