Where is Canada's winter this year? Its currently 4 degrees and pouring rain here at the university, a trend that's been pretty steady since the new year started. Definitely not the weather I imagined for January when I came back to the school after Christmas break back home. I keep seeing beer commercials during Hockey Night in Canada bragging about our cold winters filled with tobogganing and playing hockey on frozen ponds; I could really go for some of that.
This is my first blog on SG despite being a member for quite a few months. Right now I'm working on finishing up the last semester of my undergrad and earning my BSc in environmental biology. Maybe afterwards I can be part of some project to fix the climate change that's been plaguing our planet so future generations can enjoy a real winter and not this sloppy rainy mess that we're getting! That's kind of a lofty goal though, right now I'd settle for getting this degree over with so I can start earning some money instead of spending it on tuition.
